Perception
The dial of Perception is true, hand-made guilloché, crafted using a rose engine by the atelier of the only guilloché master-artisan on the Asian continent, Master Cheng Yucai. His team takes approximately 8 hours to create just one dial, and the operation of the rose engines necessitate an enormous amount of skill and focus. Guilloché is a true métier d’art, mastered by less than 30 craftspeople in the world. The slightest mistake means the dial has to be scrapped — and that Cheng and his disciples will need to start again.
